Woo Hoo!

Just got a letter through the post from NTL saying that they are going to be upping my intenet connection speed (at no further cost) to 2 Meg! Certainly didn't see that one coming! :) :)

Good old BT brought this about, guess it's very competative. I'm wondering when the 8 Mb is coming to our area.

I think they have been forced into it, I heard that Bulldog are doing some just astonishing deals at the moment, but they don't have great coverage...I was a bit stuck where I was, BT could only squeeze half a meg out through the horses and puddles, so cable was my only real option! Still, I'm looking forward to it! It's funny cos I have actually been having 1Mb speeds sporadically for the last couple of weeks, so they must have been messing around with the bandwidth already...
