My mum and dad are buried a short way from those graves. Pity we couldn't afford stones like that.

They must have cost a fortune, but hey, entropy will reduce us all (and everything we have built) to dust in the end, so everything equalises... ;)

That's very philosophic dude, I was annoyed to find out that it's now illegal to have your ashes in an egg timer as was my wont. Funny thing about that graveyard is I can't be buried there now. Something to do with purchasing the plots and my stepdad is buried with my mum so I'll have to make other arrangements. But, like you say, in the great scheme of things we are but dust.

These are fascinating, but I tend to sympathise with the Natural Death Movement when they say "If it's the last thing you do get a tree instead of a headstone".
