Happy Birthday Flyingpops!

Sorry for not posting the last couple of days, Dad has been rather ill (and in hospital) so it's been all family visits (and a lot of cooking and looking after everyone), so unfortunately poor Flyingpops' birthday has arrived with a little less of a fanfare than usual...in order to make up for this (a tiny amount) I thought I would do a little retrospective of the last couple of birthdays, starting with 2006, where I blew up 100 balloons, then cooked her a lovely roast dinner (which actually went on to become one of my most visited blog posts of all time!), we then had an enormous family party, followed by clubbing in Redhill (so that birthday celebration actually managed to run on for about 4 days in total)! Then on to 2007, when me and my folks sat and blew up 250(!) balloons (earning me the comment "Darling, *sometimes*...less is more" for my trouble), then an *incredibly* eventful trip to Leeds Castle (which I honestly think I will *never* manage to forget) then a huge family dinner (cooked for 10!)...

So sweetheart, may I just wish you a very happy birthday (despite the impossible situation, and the fact it's raining cats and dogs, and that we have to be in London working rather than exploring castles with Colin)...try and think back to the last couple, and know we'll celebrate properly as soon as everything calms down! It's not every year you get to 21 (again)... ;)
