So Dad is still in the CCU (Cardiac Care Unit) at East Surrey Hospital, but at least they seem to have managed to get the mixture of poisons correct now in order to put his ticker back into the right sort of rhythm, instead of jumping all over the place, as it has been for nearly a week now (although it feels like a *lot* longer)...phew...
...the turnover in there is actually suprisingly high, it's different faces (apart from him) almost every day, with only one leaving in a box (as far as we can tell), so they obviously know what they are up to...
Just want him out of there and into Holmwood ward (or ideally back home), but as always seems to be the case in hospitals, nothing at all seems to be able to happen (decision-wise) over the weekend (obviously all the *really* important people merit weekends off)...
Update - Awesome news, just got a text message, he is allowed home this afternoon! Woo Hoo!

As a fellow Whitebusher - probably from what you call the "less posh end" - I wish your dad a speedy recovery. Best not to fall really ill over the weekend - wouldn't be anyone there to treat you. Goods news he's out today.
