On the subject of numerology/superstition, spotted this at Earlswood station the other day...now, I know some cultures I could mention (USA and ASPAC mostly), do jolly silly things like completely ignoring the fact that that certain numbers exist (because they are deemed "unlucky"), but since when have we started to do that kind of thing in the UK? All the other car parking spaces have little white lines, and all the other car parking spaces have their neatly stencilled numbers...so what's happened here then, eh? ;) Official Network Rail policy?
"Nah, sorry mate, number 13's been cancelled"...or maybe the line painter is just delayed... ;)

How many people have a house in their street with a no. 13 I wonder? Nursing homes never have a room no. 13. I'm sure this could run for a while fink. catch up soon and thanks for everything at the weekend. A&R X

LOL! Number 13's just running a bit late.
Actually my house number is 13, although I've noticed that hotels don't have a 13th floor. I guess superstition pays.
I thought it was just an American thing, actually, to be honest it's rather rare for me to find myself in a hotel with greater than 12 floors to actually notice the lack of a floor 13, so it could be a widespread practice... ;)
