Well, one good thing about the hot weather...plenty of opportunity to get the BBQ out... ;)
Had Morrocan style lamb chops yesterday, didn't prepare them myself, got them out of the emergency BBQ kit stored in the freezer, they are from the Tesco "£2 per bag" freezer range and are...absolutely wonderful...!
Slightly spicy (I add a bit of extra chilli and some cracked black pepper just to be on the safe side) with rich, sweet tomato and zingy citrus overtones...20 minutes in the oven then finish them off over the coals to get some crunchy bits...(beware though, the other offerings in the range don't really come up to scratch, it's a diamond in the rough)...yummy... ;)
