The stark contrast to how busy the beach was over the bank holiday weekend, this shot was taken at about 9am (showing the hastily assembled signs from the day before declaring the car park a little on the busier side than normal for the time of year), one day later and we had the whole place pretty much to ourselves...
Prior to that people were parked everywhere (often blocking each other in), a surf competion had taken over the entire cliff edge (and were blasting everyone with a loud PA), one guy we spoke to said he arrived at 7am and could get no nearer the sea than about half way across the car park...!
There's definitely something to be said for being on holiday slightly out of season... ;)
