So another big change, and a very sad one this time - in part to help finance the bathroom rebuild and in part because it's really not going to be practical with a tiny baby, Colin the Camper is officially up for sale...he has been part of the family since early November 2006 (I was actually shocked when I checked back on the blog and discovered it's been quite such a long time!), our adventures have been numerous, most of which I have detailed on this blog - it will be *very* tough to wave goodbye, but needs must, and this particular need Colin is not quite suitable for...his advert asking for some new guardians appeared in the Friday ad over the weekend, and an excited (potential) buyer rang up Flyingpops yesterday - they are coming over to have a look on Saturday morning... :(
Still, it can feel cramped enough in there even with just the two of us and all our stuff, so it really is time to think about either getting a bigger motor home (that I can drive without being extremely squashed), or perhaps a little caravan...
In the meantime, we should celebrate the time we have spent together by re-living all the fantastic experiences we have shared!
Thanks Colin, we'll make sure you go to a good home...!

Sad but practical... :-) Good luck Colin! xxx
I'm in tears reading this... I really don't want to sell Colin, but I will make sure he goes to a good home and I promise we'll get another camper again one day x
You'll be selling off the xbox next... ;)
If it wasn't for financing the new bathroom, I'd say to wait a bit longer. As a family we used to love all squeezing in together on holidays - it's what made it so much fun.
'Bye 'bye, Colin.
We also can't get a seat belt in the back, so practically Colin has to go!
As for the XBOX, it's definitely staying! We've just got a new TV so Fink can have a 'Den' to hide out in!
You'll still be camping won't you. Little MJ will still get to enjoy the lovely UK family holidays! I look forward to meeting up with you some time with you in your caravan and us in our Bell Tent! :-)
Not sure I can cope with going back to a tent - the total lack of set-up time, the warmth and luxury of the blackout system for the T25, the integrated fridge and cooker were just so convenient...and carrying everything around with you too - a trip to the beach? No problem - lunch, tea and coffee on demand, and the fridge stays cold all day...? This has to be one of the toughest decisions we've made over the new baby...only thing making it better is the thought of a nice little caravan with TV and a place to plug in my 360... ;)
I repeat, the XBOX does NOT go on holiday... hear me... the XBOX does not go on holiday ;o)
Sarah - we'll definitely go camping.. Bob and MJ will have so much fun playing together in the mud, whilst we have a glass of wine to keep out the cold!!!!
While I am playing on the Xbox... ;_
NO no no... you and Simon can have a Stella!
