...wish I had *thought* to try this website before spending *all* DAY working on the garden...
I was confused for a while as to why, after putting about a thousand bulbs (from the Amsterdam Blumenmarkt) in the back garden when we moved in, not a lot actually sprung up in the spring (as it were). The discovery of a number of acorns as we were digging over the beds today, taken with the addition of this article (see the aftercare section) did *rather* reveal the answer...
Just a shame they are all bloody planted now...I think I just spent £40 on squirrel food....*slap* :(

oh dear! bet your really mr popular for digging up mr squirrels winter acorn stash...s'pect he's been cursing you all day to...i know we're all s'pose to encourage wildlife into our gardens but can we afford to...
perhaps if you'd just left the bag of bulbs outside mr squirrel would have planted them for you... that would have been a result...can you afford to try an experiment!!!!

Heheh...we have so many bulbs left over I think *we'll* be eating them for tea! ;)
